Parent Baby Spaces

“Helping parents confidently choose emotionally safe, professionally held spaces for themselves and their babies.”

— Anouska, Founder

Who are we for?

Parents

A space where you don't have to perform, explain or hold everything together.

A space that welcomes you exactly as you are, whatever your story, background or journey into parenthood.

Whether you arrive feeling...

🤍 Tired.

🤍 Overwhelmed.

🤍 Unsure.

🤍 Hopeful.

🤍 Or simply longing for connection.

At Parent Baby Spaces, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to choose a parent and baby space where they feel emotionally safe, welcomed and truly supported.

A place where you can...

✨ Exhale.

✨ Feel seen.

✨ Feel heard.

✨ Know you belong.

Whether that's through a baby class, a support group, a conversation, or simply knowing someone understands.

Every Parent Baby Space chooses to align with a shared professional framework that places emotional safety, compassion, accessibility and continual learning at the heart of the support it offers.

Because how a space feels matters.

And every family deserves a place where they—and their baby—can flourish.

Practitioners, Organisations and Training Providers

Whether you're holding a class...

Leading an organisation...

Training the next generation of practitioners...

Or supporting families in your community...

Parent Baby Spaces exists for those who believe that every family deserves to feel safe, welcomed and supported.

For those who understand that professionalism is not only demonstrated through what we know, but through how we lead, how we reflect and how we continue to grow.

Together, we're strengthening the future of parent and baby spaces.

Meet the Founder

Parent Baby Spaces was founded by Anouska Cassells, an early years professional, parenting coach and founder of the Parent Baby Spaces Framework.

For more than two decades, Anouska has worked alongside children, parents and professionals in a wide range of settings, including leading an early years provision from Requires Improvement to Outstanding.

Throughout her career, one belief has remained constant:

How a space feels matters.

Whether supporting children in an early years setting, welcoming parents into a baby class or leading professional teams, Anouska saw that the greatest impact was often created not by the activity itself, but by the environment in which it took place.

She also recognised that parent and baby spaces are often one of the very first communities families encounter after welcoming a baby.

These spaces have the potential to shape confidence, reduce isolation and remind parents that they are not alone.

Yet across the sector, there was no shared professional philosophy describing what emotionally safe, professionally held parent and baby spaces could look like.

Parent Baby Spaces was created to change that.

Today, Parent Baby Spaces exists to strengthen the parent and baby sector through a shared professional philosophy, supporting organisations, training providers and practitioners who believe that professionalism, compassion and lifelong learning belong together.

At its heart is a simple belief:

Every family deserves the opportunity to choose a parent and baby space that is emotionally safe, professionally held and committed to continual learning.
